THE BACKSTORY: CRASH LANDING ON EARTH

Magnitude. It had its’ origins on a now dead planet code named “The Red Pearl”, which turned out to be our modern day planet Mars. The weapon itself belonged to an ancient super advanced civilization who were known as the PSI-LORDS ( pronounced : cy-lords) who had perished millions of years earlier due to a catastrophic planet wide war. As the detectives give chase to the vile SLYME LORD and his gang of thugs, both their starships enter Earth orbit. At that time the Earth’s magnetic field is going haywire due to the after effects of a giant meteor impacting the planet and causing a polar shift, killing off most surface life –including the famous dinosaurs. Computer guidance systems on both ships are rendered useless, causing the massive starships to crash land into the planet’s southern continent of Antarctica. Meanwhile planet Earth is rapidly losing its’ warmth and sunlight. All four detectives are critically injured during the crash landing. The ship’s emergency medical droids take over, performing lifesaving surgery on the birdlike humanoids and replacing most of their flesh with artificial parts and making them more cybernetic in nature. The detective’s senses and physical strengths are vastly improved and sharpened. They are then placed in preservation cubicles and are frozen until a time when the Earth’s atmosphere has improved. But a small malfunction caused by the damage to the ship fails to “wake” the detectives. It is an astounding 65 MILLION YEARS later that a young teenage boy and his uncle accidently discover the buried ship and the strange looking “cyborg penguins” frozen within it. Meanwhile....SLYME LORD and his gang of villains crash land a few miles from where the pursuing detectives had impacted, sustaining critical injuries as well and severely damaging their starship. But SLYME LORD because of his extraordinary mutant strength is not as injured as the rest of his crew. He manages to quickly program the ships’ computer systems and medical droids to freeze and preserve all surviving crew members into time-suspension cubicles-whereby at a later time they would be “reawakened” to begin repairs on their heavily damaged ship. But due to the severe damage sustained from the crash landing, nothing of the sort happens. And so it is not until 65 MILLION years later that SLYME LORD’S ship is discovered buried as deep as one mile in depth by an ambitious yet insane biologist on a curious hunt.
